This series portrays the trials and tribulations of the Muzaffarnagar refugees in their camps, who struggle to build a daily life with meager hopes and possibilities. These images depict a mundane day out of the Muzaffarnagar camp site. They capture snapshots of daily existences of camp residents, with children ushering in a new day with hope on their faces, women busying themselves with the day's chores in makeshift arrangements, and old and young linger on in the broken tents, with meagre expectations out of another banal day. Life goes on at the camp, with its trivialities merged with a small hope for a better day, some day.
